Episode 116: Equipment & Philosophy

First question, “Where do you start buying” with regard to starting a roasting operation? Now check out this question, “How do you modulate the flavor profile of coffee in roasting?” These are no small matters, and we needed someone with loads of experience who speaks the human language to get this conversation rolling. Thankfully, Rob Hoos (coffee roasting consultant) agreed to join us on the show. Oh, and by the way, he is the author of the book Modulating the Flavor Profile of Coffee: One Roaster’s Manifesto so don’t sweat that second question.
